Covid vaccination drive for old-age homes and disabled!
Hyderabad:
The Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that special vaccination drive has been taken up for the elderly and disabled people staying in old age homes as per the directions of CM Sri KCR.
The Chief Secretary today visited the old age home at Bansilalpet and flagged off mobile medical vans. 24 mobile medical units have been deployed to vaccinate elderly and disabled people staying in various old age homes in the GHMC area. The mobile unit will comprise of a Doctor, Pharmacist and an ANM. He also inspected the #COVID19Vaccination centre where the elderly and disabled people were being vaccinated.
The CS stated that the Government is fully geared up and prepared to handle the 3rd wave by improving health infrastructure, strengthening human resources, capacity building, vaccinating high exposure groups and setting up 19 diagnostic centres across the State. Later, the CS inaugurated #COVID19Vaccination centre at Union Bank of India’s (erstwhile Andhra Bank) regional office at Koti for its employees and family members. Congratulated General Manger Sri Kabir Bhattacharya and other bank officials on taking up special vaccination drive.
Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Dept. S.A.M. Rizvi, Special Secretary, Finance Dept., Ronald Rose, Secretary, Women and Child Welfare Dept. Divya, Hyderabad Dist.
