‘Ala.. Vaikuntapuramulo…’ Hindi version runs into controversy

Hyderabad: Icon star Allu Arjun’s hit flick ‘Ala.. Vaikuntapuramlo..’ is being remade in Hindi. Bollywood star Karthik Aaryan is starring in Hindi version. Kriti Sanon is playing female lead. Rohit Dhawan is the director. Allu Aravind is co-producing it with Bhushan Kumar. It is titled Shehzada. After Allu Arjun’s new found stardom in Hindi post Pushpa movie, there are good expectations on this movie. However this movie has run into troubles. While Shehzada, which is an official remake of ‘Ala..Vaikuntapuramlo..’ is in final stages, it has got a big jolt in the form of ‘Ala.. Vaikuntapuramlo’ Hindi dubbed version. While ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’ producers sold the Hindi remake rights to Shehzada makers, they sold Hindi dubbed and digital rights to Manish Shah. Manish Shah owns Dinchak movie channel, Goldmines Films YouTube channel and others. He had dubbed the movie in Hindi and made plans to release it in theatres on January 26. This move by Manish Shah gave a huge shock to Shehzada makers. They feared that, releasing of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo Hindi dubbed version will affect Shehzada movie prospects. It is said that finally producers of both Shehzada and Manish Shah have come to a compromise. While theatrical release has been stopped, ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’ Hindi dubbed version will be premiered on Dinchak TV.The post ‘Ala..
